Overview

Aberdeen Bay Project is a Test & Demonstration project located off the coast south of Aberdeen, Scotland. Famous for the long-running planning battle between the Scottish Government and Donald Trump, who owns a golf course on the nearby coast. It was the first project to make commercial use of Suction Bucket foundations and 8MW turbines. Piers Guy was the project sponsor, managing the development team from consent to Final Investment Decision.
