Project Overview

Kriegers Flak is Scandinavia's largest Offshore Wind Farm - a 600MW Wind Farm in the Danish Baltic Sea. It was another breakthrough project with a price of less than 50 Euros/MWh. It was also the world’s first interconnected project with a grid solution which connects Germany and Denmark and now is producing seaweed and mussels as well as renewable electricity. Piers Guy was the Project Sponsor for Kreigers Flak managing the development team from Tender through to Final Investment Decision.
