Project Overview

Norfolk Vanguard and Boreas are large-scale offshore wind projects located in the North Sea, off the coast of Norfolk, UK. This 3.6 GW renewable energy development represents a major step in advancing HVDC (High Voltage Direct Current) technology, connecting wind turbines ranging from 15-22 MW to the grid. This project was developed by Piers Guy’s team, consented, and then sold to RWE in 2023, marking one of the largest offshore wind project acquisitions in the global market.
